Step aerobics is a classic cardio workout. The "step" is a 4-inch platform that can be raised up to 12 inches. Move your body up, around, and down the platform in various patterns to increase your heartrate and breathing, and to strengthen your muscles. Movements can range from simple to advanced. All fitness levels welcome!
Strengthen your body in this hour-long class using various pieces of equipment including, but not limited to heavy and light weights, resistance bands, stability balls, and even your own body weight. No cardio! This class is appropriate for all fitness levels; modifications are always offered where needed.
This class will help develop a supple spine and optimal flow of energy. Enjoy greater strength while increasing flexibility and endurance for healthy muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Maximize digestion, assimilation, and elimination, and invigorate the immune, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. Purify and strengthen the vital organs and glandular systems. Awaken positive qualities such as emotional balance, mental clarity, and self confidence.
Yin is a meditative style of yoga that targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Traditional hatha poses are held for several minutes combines with breath work. Participants can expect to increase flexibility, range of motion, balance, and increase overall strength. Expect to leave the class feeling more centered and confident. This yoga class is open to all fitness levels.
